Clinical Trials Festival Asia 2024

Dr Ivan Horak and Ms Clare Tan hosted a fireside chat and panel discussion in Clinical Trials Festival Asia 2024.

SINGAPORE – 23 May 2024 – The 2nd Annual Clinical Trials Festival Asia 2024 (CTFA) and 8th Biologistics World Asia 2024 (BLWA, held from March 20th to 21st, 2024 in the iconic Marina Bay Sands Expo & Convention Centre, Singapore, was an event that brought together a diverse group of professionals from the clinical research industry. The festival was a vibrant mix of informative sessions, workshops, and networking opportunities that provided a comprehensive overview of the current trends and future directions in clinical trials.

The festival featured presentations from leading experts in the field, covering a wide range of topics. Tikva Allocell’s founder and CEO, Dr. Ivan Horak shared his insights and considerable experiences, highlighting the challenges and opportunities in conducting clinical trials in Asia. Dr. Horak opined on the privileged position Singapore is in, with an excellent healthcare system, world-leading research institutions and up-to-date regulatory framework. He also expressed his optimism on how Tikva Allocell can work together with clinicians and regulators to bring first-in-class drugs to market.

Ms Clare Tan, Director for Clinical Operations and Project Management at Tikva Allocell hosted a fireside chat with Dr. Michael Wong, Director for Molecular Biomarkers at MSD Singapore, who shared his insights on the importance of biomarkers in clinical development, its challenges, and opportunities. Clare also led a round table discussion with some of the participants to exchange views about accelerating clinical trial processes in Asia.
